Description
Designed to stop large birds and debris entering the pot. The MAD Cowls sprung birdguard is manufactured from M6 steel with a powder coated terracotta finish. It is designed to spring to the Internal diameter of the pot, fitting both round and square pots from 200mm - 250mm internal diameter.
Installation Tip:- Use a Cable Tie or Ratchet Strap to reduce the diameter/size of the birdguard before installation allowing the part to slide inside of the pot with ease. Once the birdguard is in position then cut / release the cable tie / ratchet strap for expansion to the internal of the pot.

Really pleased with this item. Strong and easy to fit being sprung loaded. Looks good too. No more magpies falling down chimney.

Bird cowl
Literally just come in from fitting two. Jackdaws a real problem for me. I rephrase. We're a problem Simply squash or expand the tangs to get the perfect fit. Slide the tangs down inside the pot. Level up by eye. Bingo job done Powder coating looks as good as does powder coating. Time will tell. But if they rust it won't show as they come terracotta coloured.
